Puzzaro Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Puzzaro app (“the app”, “we”) collects, why, and what choices you have. The app is made by TechTable (the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce no. 98067826), which is the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Summary

• You don’t need an account, and we never ask for your email, real name or contacts.
• Your games, statistics and settings are stored on your device.
• To sync your progress and post daily scores, the app signs in with an anonymous ID.
• You can delete all of your data, on the device and in the cloud, from Settings → Clear all data.

The app shows no advertising and has no in-app purchases.

We do not sell your personal data, and we don’t use it for anything other than the purposes above.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. No notification data is sent to us.

Service providers

We use these processors, each bound by their own data protection terms:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore) — Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC. Data is stored in the European Union (Google Cloud multi-region eur3).
• Apple and Google — app distribution.

Some providers may process data outside the EU. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep data

• Data on your device stays until you clear it in the app or uninstall the app.
• Cloud data (save and daily scores) stays until you choose Settings → Clear all data, which deletes your cloud save, the daily scores submitted from your device, and your anonymous account.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. The quickest way to delete everything is Settings → Clear all data. For any other request, contact us at info@techtable.nl. Because we only know your anonymous ID, we may ask you to include the leaderboard name you used so we can find your data. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in the Netherlands: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
